I have added two reviews of Personal Affairs: First, the TV Scoop: We had lots of sex (Midge shagged a co-worker on a desk, and then in the stationary cupboard and then snogged her boss) and Nicole had her wicked way with a maintenance man in a lift (played by Joe Absolom), some problems with bosses (they all fancied their personal assistants, especially Rock, who asked Grace to marry him) and a hunky doctor who they all secretly had a massive crush on. So the very unsubtle comedy continued (with about a 10 per cent hit rate) and then, with about 20 minutes to go, it all got a bit weird and changed direction completely. And The Independent: Then the fantasy sequences faded away and it became clear that the whole thing is a kind of delirium, as unembarrassed about the ludicrous implausibility of its plotting as it is about the models it aspires to. As the sub-plots mounted – abduction, bank heist, enigmatic stalkers – it dawned on you that it was Enid Blyton with added shagging, a feisty all-girl gang who only break off from mystery solving to have a quick knee-trembler with the lift-repair man or disappear into a stationery cupboard with one of the less repellent bankers. As you can see the reviews are not being overly-kind. I quite enjoyed it; it's certainly not as bad as the reviewers are making out. What did you make of it? Labels: P.A.s, reviews

I hope you're all enjoying Personal Affairs :) Here are the screencaps from episodes one and two. I'll be adding the rest as the weeks go by. I think I'll get rid of the Newsdesk and just put all the updates on here. I don't tend to use it very much and it'll make updates easier for me if I swap it round. I hope the transition should be smooth so hopefully you shouldn't notice any downtime. Once the move has been made you'll be able to comment on the news articles if you like, and it'll mean I can archive the updates. Labels: gallery, P.A.s
